Watch Out For This With Roof Coating Companies
I got an email the other week off a guy saying that he’d been told to get in touch with XL NuRoof Coatings for advice about a roof. When I called him back he explained that Trading Standards had recommended that he got in touch with me about a job that had been carried out on his parents’ house by a certain roof coating company who I can’t name here.
So off I went to check out this roof. When I got there it was soon apparent that the roof was in a right state. Basically his parents are an ageing couple in their eighties living in West Kirkby and they’d been canvassed and given the hard sales process by a totally unprofessional roof coating company.
There were made to sign on the dotted line straight away and not to tell anybody about the ‘discounts and all the money they have saved’ (hmmm) not even their own family.
This rogue company went on to jet wash the roof and re-coat it in the middle of winter, which if you read my free report “7 Step Plan To A Perfect Roof Coating”, you’ll know is a big No No!
His parent’s house also had rosemary tiles which “don’t need coating“, like natural slate tiles, they already have a protective layer.
Unfortunately, the job shouldn’t of been done at all so there wasn’t much I could do. If I applied any roof coating it would of made matters a whole lot worse and only amplified the problem.
All I could do was give them further advice and knowledge to sort out their predicament and provide them with a survey and report to give to the Trading Standards to help them resolve their terrible situation.
This is a prime example of rogue roof coating companies that are operating in the north west. To make sure you don’t get scammed by roof coating companies like this Click Here to download and read my free report.
